Hello and welcome to Conservatoria! My name is Victoria Haddock and I am a paper, book and archives conservator.
I have worked at a range of places and on many different projects since graduating with Distinction from the MA Conservation (Paper Pathway) Course at Camberwell College of Arts in 2016.
During my course I did various work placements such as at the Hirayama Studio at the British Museum, UCL, London Library, Wimbledon, and Canterbury Cathedral.
Then since graduating I have worked for places including the CRC University of Edinburgh, The Boots Archive, The Wellcome Library, Kew Gardens Library and Archive, NCS (National Conservation Service), Digitisation companies and the V&A.
From 2016 – 2022 I served on the Icon Book and Paper Group Committee as a Special Projects Officer, also in charge of administering the Frederick Bearman Research Grant.
I am on the Icon Accreditation Pathway.
Alongside this I do various freelance work and now have a studio based at the Murston Heart project.
